Additionally, more than 86 percent of the communities in North Carolina have a lower crime rate than Fayetteville and according to Neighborhood Scout, it was found to be one of the top 100 most dangerous cities in America.
In addition to violent and property crime rates, Fayetteville has been recognized by the FBI, as an area in which your chances of being a victim of murder, armed robbery, or aggravated assault is one in 100 and your chances of becoming a victim of property crimes such as burglary, larceny. Vehicle theft and arson are as high as one in 29 or 35 per one thousand population.
